My Information for Buyers
There is a lot of information out there on the home buying process, but I have broken it down to a few simple steps for you. First, is to hire a REALTOR (why you are here!) and meet with them to discuss your needs. Next you will need to get pre-qualified by a lender (a bank, credit union, etc.). Once we know how much you have to buy a home then we can begin the actual home search and seeing homes (the fun part!).
Searching for a home
If you want to see what is currently available for sale you can search below or on my 'Search' tab.
Just remember: Browsing the listings for months is one way to search for a home, but in the current quick selling competitive market in Northern Nevada homes go pending in a matter of days! A Realtor has access to information on newly listed homes for sale - some that are never listed publicly.
The Home Buying Process
Once you have found a home, you make an offer on it. As your Realtor, I hold the Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) designation which gives me an edge in negotiating the best terms for you. After your offer (or counter-offer) has been accepted there will be home inspections, property appraisals, and many documents!
If you'd like to know about the home buying process, I would be happy to tell you about it. Contact me!
